Explorer Program Information:
The Anne Arundel County Police Explorer Program was created to introduce high school-aged youths to the various careers in law enforcement. Police Explorers are uniformed, non-paid members of the department which meet once a week. During the meetings, Explorers learn good moral character, responsibility and team work. They also receive police associated training which shows them what is like to be a recruit officer in training.
Minimum Requirements:
U.S. Citizen, at least 14 (and in ninth grade) to 21 years of age with an interest in law enforcement.
** No Arrests and/or criminal history.
