NORTHERN DISTRICT

 

Citizen Robbery                                                                                                         Baltimore

 

On December 19, 2015, at approximately 3:36 pm, officers responded to the 4600 block of  4th Street in Baltimore for a robbery.  Upon arrival officers met with the victim, who stated that two suspects approached him as he was exiting a store, ‘tased’ him in the neck and assaulted him. The suspects took property and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency from the victim then fled the area of foot.  Several officers, including the aviation unit, and Baltimore City Police officers canvassed the area with negative results. The victim suffered minor injuries.

 

Suspect #1: Black male, 18-25 yoa, 6’, 175 lbs, black mask, black hooded sweatshirt

 

Suspect #2: Black male, 18-25 yoa, 5’6”, 160 lbs, red sweatshirt

 

 

 

Commercial Robbery                                                                                               Glen Burnie  

 

On December 19, 2015, at approximately 9:37 pm, officers responded to the 7300 block of Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie for a commercial robbery.  Upon arrival officers met with the clerk, who stated that the suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun, and demanded money. The clerk gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of US Currency, and then the suspect fled the area on foot. Several officers, including the aviation unit, and canine unit canvassed the area with negative results.

 

 

Suspect: Black male, early 20’s, 6’, thin build

 

 

 

Citizen Robbery                                                                                                         Baltimore

 

On December 20, 2015, at approximately 7:45 pm, officers responded to 6920 Heritage Crossing in Glen Burnie for a robbery of a delivery driver.  Upon arrival officers learned that a pizza delivery driver was making a delivery in the area when the unknown suspect approached the driver displaying a handgun.  The suspect took the food from the driver and fled the area on foot.  Several officers, including a canine unit canvassed the area with negative results.

CDS Arrest                                                                                                                Pasadena

 

On December 18, 2015, detectives from Northern District Tactical Patrol Unit were in the Freetown Village community attempting to locate Myung Presbury, who had an open arrest warrant for an assault.  At approximately 12:03 pm, detectives located Presbury standing in the 7800 block of Levy Court.  When detectives approached Presbury to place him under arrest, he continually tried to reach into the front of his pants, but was restrained by the detectives.  A search of Presbury revealed that he had a plastic bag concealed in the front of his pants.  The bag was found to contain 35 baggies of crack cocaine, 15 baggies of heroin and 1 bag of marijuana.  The cocaine had an approximate weight of 9.26 grams, the heroin had an approximate weight of 2.13 grams, and the marihuana an approximate weight of 2.13 grams.  Presbury was also in possession of $650.00 in U.S. Currency. He was charged with possession and possession with intent to distribute cocaine and heroin.

EASTERN DISTRICT

 

Commercial Robbery                                                                                               Annapolis      

 

On December 20, 2015, at approximately 7:03 am, officers responded to Motel 6 located at 1542 Whitehall Road in Annapolis for a robbery of the business.  Officers arrived and spoke with the on duty clerk.  The clerk advised that the suspect entered the business, produced a handgun and robbed the clerk of an undetermined amount of currency.  The suspect then fled the business in a white work-style van.

 

Suspect: Black male, approx. 6’2” tall, average build

At approximately 9:17 am, officers responded to the area of Carbide Road and Pittman Road for a reported carjacking.  A citizen noticed a subject in handcuffs and stopped to render assistance.  The victim originally reported that he had been carjacked in Baltimore City and he and his vehicle were left at this location.  The victim later disclosed that he was with a prostitute that he picked up in Baltimore City and was approached by two white males at this location. One of the males implied a weapon, handcuffed him then robbed him of U.S. Currency, credit cards and an unloaded 22 rifle.  

 

Suspect 1: White male, approximately 5’8” tall, approximately 185 lbs, short dark hair and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt

 

Suspect 2: White male, approximately 6’2” tall with dark brown crewcut style hair

 

 

 

SOUTHERN DISTRICT

 

Attempted Commercial Robbery                                                                            Annapolis

 

On December 20, 2015, at approximately 6:45 am, officers responded to the Extended Stay America located at 120 Admiral Cochrane Drive in reference to a robbery.  Upon arrival, officers learned the suspect entered the lobby, displayed a handgun to the clerk on duty, and demanded cash.  The clerk advised the suspect that she did not have any money, and the suspect then fled without obtaining any cash / items. Several officers canvassed the area with negative results.

 

Suspect:  Light skinned black male, 20-30 yrs old, wearing dark hoodie, armed with a black handgun

 

 

SPECIAL ENFORCEMENT SECTION

METAL THEFT UNIT

 

Metal Theft                                                                                                                Hanover

                                   

On December 16, 2015 at approximately 7:14 am, officers responded to a theft that occurred at the Homewood Suites, in Hanover, Maryland.  Investigation revealed that unknown suspect(s) had removed brass caps, which cover firehose connectors in various stairwells of the hotel.  Similar thefts were reported over the past few weeks throughout Anne Arundel County, Maryland.  Investigation revealed that David Michael Wilkinson was arrested by Annapolis City Police on December 04, 2015, for stealing brass caps from a marina in Annapolis City.

 

 

 Annapolis City Police charged the suspect with theft, however, he was released on his own recognizance.  Detectives from Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Metal Theft Unit began their investigation and were able to link Mr. Wilkinson to several cases throughout Anne Arundel County, Maryland.  On December 18, 2015, detectives from Metal Theft Unit were able to conduct surveillance and took Mr. Wilkinson into custody, without incident.  Mr. Wilkinson was charged with several counts of theft, reckless endangerment, and burglary.
